Every event posts its own journal.
Graviton Accounting is a sub-ledger for lenders. Every disbursal, EMI, charge, waiver, write-off and provision posts its own balanced double-entry journal the moment it happens — cash or accrual, GST and TDS handled — rolled up to a trial balance that tallies all day.
01 · THE LEDGER — TRY IT LIVE
Post an event. Watch it balance.
A live model of the Graviton sub-ledger — the same vouchers, GL and statements your finance team works in. Illustrative amounts; your chart of accounts, posting rules and provisioning norms are your own.
02 · EVENTS IN, STATEMENTS OUT
One posting engine, three books.
03 · NPA, WITHOUT THE SPREADSHEET
Provisioning that follows the book.
When an account crosses a bucket, classification changes, the provision posts and accrued income unrecognises — per RBI norms, the same night. When it regularises, the reversals post themselves too.
04 · A PLATFORM THAT COMPOUNDS
The books keep getting sharper.
Entries that self-correct
Hold-tranche downsizing now passes a reverse entry moving the amount from the disbursement control account to the loan portfolio account — so balances stay accurate after a downsize.
Cleaner charge income
Login charges now book directly to the login-charge income account at collection, with no detour through a suspense account — fewer clearing entries at close.
Simulated before it posts
Prepayment impact is calculated before posting for both reduce-EMI and reduce-tenure, with product charges auto-applied — plus branch-based accounting views across offices.
05 · RUN IT WITH CONFIDENCE
Built for teams that answer to an auditor.
Balanced by construction
Every entry is double-entry; the trial balance tallies continuously, with drill-down to source event.
Maker-checker on JVs
Manual journals and adjustments are drafted, reviewed and approved; MFA and role-based access throughout.
Deployment, your way
Cloud or on-premise, single-tenant where you need it, with data residency in India.
Auditor-ready exports
Entry downloads, closure reports and branch views your auditors and ERP can consume directly.
06 · FAQ
Graviton Accounting, in practice.
The accounting product in the Graviton suite — a sub-ledger system where every lending event posts its own balanced double-entry journal: disbursals, EMIs, charges, waivers, write-offs and provisioning, aligned to GAAP with GST and TDS handled, rolled up to a real-time trial balance, P&L and balance sheet.
It runs lending accounting end to end — sub-ledgers, journals, trial balance, P&L and balance sheet — and integrates with your ERP or corporate GL where one exists, with entry downloads and opening-balance migration. Many lenders run it as their book of record for the loan business and feed summarised entries to a group ERP.
Both, chosen per product. Under accrual, income is recognised as it is earned, with periodic and upfront accrual support; under cash, income is recognised on receipt. The same event posts differently by basis, automatically — as the ledger above shows — and manual journals with maker-checker cover adjustments.
NPA tagging drives automated provisioning entries to the P&L and unrecognises accrued-but-unpaid income per RBI norms; when the account regularises, the reversals post automatically the same night. No month-end spreadsheet, and every entry drills down to the source account.
Charges split automatically into fee income and GST output liability at the moment of posting, with GST invoices generated; TDS is handled on applicable entries. Tax lines are never booked as income and never keyed by hand.
Because every event posts as it happens, the trial balance tallies through the day and end-of-day closes in minutes rather than weeks — with EOM and EOY closure reports, branch-based views, and auditor-ready entry downloads. Lenders running Graviton end to end report a nightly close in around sixteen minutes.
